9 MAI 2009:
new milestone in the history of De Tijd l L'Echo

"HOW A SIMPLE CHANGE OF COLOR CAN MAKE MORE CONTENT."

For the last three years, De Tijd and L'Echo have had a new and successful focus on business and finance. This year, the Belgian business newspapers go even further as they join the league of the international business newspapers. From 9 May 2009, the news will be printed black on ‘salmoncoloured’, the colour which is internationally known for analysis, depth and quality.

The first salmon-coloured edition

The new salmon-coloured newspapers are launched with a previously unseen reader campaign and a special, prestigious Dossier: ‘The New World’. The editorial department predicts the world economy after the financial-economic crisis, and in doing so, we allow the best-known writer from the international business press to have their say. Supported by a powerful communication campaign, the first edition of the salmon-coloured business newspapers will be a true collector’s item.

P.S. Mediafin will send the first edition of the salmon-coloured newspapers as an introduction to a selection of 20,000 business managers and top managers, and do so, it will increase the total print of De Tijd and L'Echo on 9 May to no less than 145,000 copies.
